Troubleshooting
Running into problems? Find your error message below and follow the steps to fix it.
General Issues
These can happen with any platform:
"Platform not configured"
What it means: The credentials haven't been added to the website yet.
What to do:
- •Contact your administrator
- •Make sure they received your App IDs and Secrets
- •Ask them to add the credentials to the website settings
"Callback failed or Token exchange failed"
What it means: Something went wrong during the connection process.
What to do:
- •Try again — sometimes it's a temporary issue
- •Make sure the redirect URL was entered correctly in the app settings
- •Check that the App ID and Secret are correct
- •Contact your administrator if it keeps happening
Facebook Issues
"No pages found"
What it means: Your Facebook account isn't connected to a Facebook Page.
What to do:
- •Make sure you have a Facebook Page (not just a personal profile)
- •Make sure you're an admin of that Page
- •Try disconnecting and reconnecting
"Invalid OAuth access token"
What it means: The token may have expired or is incorrect.
What to do:
- •Generate a new token in the Facebook Developer portal
- •Make sure you're using the Page Access Token, not User Access Token
- •Check if the app is in Live mode (not Development mode)
LinkedIn Issues
"Insufficient permissions"
What it means: LinkedIn hasn't approved your posting request yet.
What to do:
- •Check your email for an approval message from LinkedIn
- •This can take 1-2 days
- •Go back to LinkedIn Developers and check if "Share on LinkedIn" was approved
- •If it was rejected, you may need to provide more information
Reddit Issues
"Invalid username or password"
What it means: Wrong login info, or you have two-factor authentication enabled.
What to do:
- •Double-check your username (don't include "u/")
- •Double-check your password
- •If you have 2FA enabled, create an app password (see instructions below)
"Rate limit exceeded"
What it means: Reddit has strict limits on how often you can post.
What to do:
- •Wait before trying again
- •Reduce your posting frequency
- •New accounts have stricter limits — build up karma first
How to Create a Reddit App Password (for 2FA users)
- 1.Go to Reddit and click your profile picture
- 2.Click "Settings"
- 3.Click "Safety & Privacy" in the left menu
- 4.Scroll down to "App Passwords"
